over 4 years ago – Thu, Jan 16, 2020 at 06:24:56 PM

Thank you, backers!

A number of you have thrown your support behind the new Kickstarter for the Never Going Home Campaign Dossiers in the first 48 hours, and we want to throw out a big heartfelt THANK YOU! It's a bigger campaign than our first one with THREE brand new books full of player options, Narrator options, and adventures, but we also have some pretty ambitious stretch goals too. Thanks for setting us out with a great start early in the campaign.

For those of you who haven't yet backed, you can do so at the link  RIGHT HERE.

Heavy Metal Gamer Podcast

Matthew Orr and Brandon K. Aten will be on the Heavy Metal Gamer Podcast tonight to discuss the campaign dossiers and everything that went into the design process, including many discussions with you all at conventions and online. We'll be sure to post the link when it goes up, but we wanted to get it on your radar.

The Never Going Home Campaign Dossiers provide loads of new player and narrator options, while putting the soldiers of your unit into different areas of the world exposed to the corruption of the others. Each book covers a new theater of the war with a connected series of 6 sequential missions.

Do you have friends who missed the first campaign and want to pick up the books? There are pledge options for them too!

Help us spread the word about this great game you helped bring to life.

Quick Soldier's Journal Update
over 4 years ago – Mon, Jan 13, 2020 at 11:38:10 PM

All soldier's journal backers: I received word from the artisan who continues to move through his workload. He apologized for the delay, but found that he needed to order some additional hides due to a miscalculation. These should be completed in about 3 weeks after which time we will mail them out with tracking numbers.

Additionally, he has committed to do a few additional copies for the new Kickstarter, but rest assured that YOURS will be done first and well before he has time slotted to work on those. Your support is why we're even in a position to expand the game line and we want to make sure there is no confusion about our gratitude. Thank you again, and we hope we can count on your support for the Never Going Home Campaign Journals.

Happy New Year!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Dec 31, 2019 at 05:09:30 PM

As 2019 draws to a close, we want to take a moment and share our thoughts on the past year and the excitement of 2020.

We had big plans for this year after our successful Kickstarter for Never Going Home, and things have been just as exciting as we expected, if not more so. We were able to work with a number of writers and creators we had wanted to work with for years, and many we already knew and were excited to work with again. It has been great building these relationships with our creator community which is constantly abuzz with new ideas, camaraderie, and silly jokes, but we are always supportive of each other and any projects our members are working on (including future Wet Ink Projects.

Most importantly, we have been able to work with Charles Fergusson-Avery, the extremely talented artist behind Never Going Home. He is always willing to help, and is a great creative mind to bounce ideas off of. When we discussed the potential of doing more Never Going Home material in 2020, he leaped at the chance. His art for the Never Going Home Campaign Dossiers (coming to Kickstarter January 14th) is going to amazing! We're excited to be working with Charles and a few other talented artists we were able to meet though our relationship with him, and can't wait to show you what they'll be working on later in 2020 (spoiler alert: It's more horror goodness!)

2019 also held the Kickstarter and development for Tenebria: Remnant of Rome. It's been released as PDF on DriveThruRPG, and we just received the DriveThru proofs for the PoD softcover and hardcover today, and they look great. The main print run is in the works, including the special editions, but they'll be in hand and shipped out soon! Getting to work with the amazing Steven Wu who wanted to play around with the +One system was an absolute joy. He's already working on another project for us, which will be announced closer to the Kickstarter launch.

But any success that we have had in 2019 would absolutely not been possible without every one of you! Our fans and supporters are the ones that keep us going, and your comments always keep us working to improve to bring you the very best games and experiences into the new year and beyond. So as we move into 2020, have a great and prosperous New Year!
